Mobitrum Corporation is located in Silver Spring, Maryland and specializes in R&D on Cyber-physical systems (CPS) to enhance embedded devices and systems' ability to communicate, identify, characterize, capture, visualize through intelligent software and robust hardware. Mobitrum has won numerous SBIR awards from NASA for advanced smart sensor technology and adaptive RF transceiver development to support NASA's Space Exploration programs.

 

 Mobitrum is awarded two US patents: 7,630,736 and 7,586,888 for wireless mesh network technology.

 

October 6, 2009 - Mobitrum is selected for Phase II contract under NASA SBIR for "Passively Powered and Programmable Sensor-RFID"

 

 

November 24, 2008 - Mobitrum is selected by NASA for 2008 Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program Phase 1 awards.

   

October 31, 2008 -- Mobitrum is selected by NASA for SBIR Phase II.

   

September 15, 2008 -- Mobitrum successfully participated NASA's first time microgravity research flights aboard commercially-owned aircraft to test hardware and technologies.

   

July 15, 2008 - Mobitrum "Virtual Sensor Test Instrumentation" SBIR project is selected by NASA's Innovative Partnerships Program to participate in reduced-gravity test flights on September 8th in Johnson Space Center, Houston, TX.

   

Mobitrum is successfuly demonstrated MOBEE® and MOBEE NET® at COMPUTEX 2008 in Taipei from June 3-7.

   

April 3.2008 - Mobitrum Corporation started shipping MOBEE NET® Intelligent sensor/RFID evaluation Kit.

   

April 1.2008 - Mobitrum Corporation Taiwan Branch is moved to Taipei Nei-Hu Technology Park to focus on OEM and commercial market.

   

November 16, 2007 - Mobitrum Corporation is selected to receive 2007 SBIR award.

   

October 11, 2007 - Mobitrum Corporation has been selected by NASA for SBIR Phase II award.

   

April 16, 2007 - Mobitrum announced a new MOBEER device based on TI's CC2430 ZigBee.

   

March 5, 2007 - The University of Maryland's industrial partnerships program announces Mobitrum is one of the 28 new research projects partnering with University researches to develop MIMO FPGA software.

   
December 21, 2006 - Mobitrum Corporation has been selected to receive a Maryland Industrial Partnerships (MIPS) award for developing "MIMO-OFDM Wireless Communications Systems."
   
November 17, 2006 - Mobitrum Corporation has been selected by NASA for two SBIR Phase I awards.
   
October 4, 2006 - Mobitrum Corporation has been selected by NASA for SBIR Phase II award.
   
October 1, 2006 - Mobitrum Corporation has been awarded General Services Administration (GSA) Contract GS-35F-0006T.
   
July 17, 2006 - Mobitrum Corporation announced a MIMO-OFDM FPGA ODM package to reach 300 Mbps.
